Komodo National Park

Komodo National Park is located on two islands namely Loh Liang on Komodo Island and Rinca Island Loh Crocodile in West Manggarai, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Access to the main entrance to the Park through Labuan Bajo as the district capital of West Manggarai using Traditional Boat supplied by local people . Komodo National Park is an icon of tourism eastern Indonesia, this is because the value of uniqueness and authenticity of which is owned by a Komodo Dragon.

In the past year, komodo national park become finalists new 7 wonders, this is of course boost the tourists who come to visit the island. In this year alone there was an increase of tourists by 40% than normal. Government efforts to promote the island of Komodo to overseas appears to be very successful, this is the mark with the increasing number of tourists who visit.

Animals island of Komodo dragons have a very large body size compared with other animals, these animals prior to fight . In one meal, animal dragons can spend 1 kilogram of meat. Komodo usually bask in the daytime. Komodo reproduce by laying eggs by making a nest under a tree. Usually in a single spawn can produce one to three dragons tail. Komodo, mean age – mean these animals could reach 4 years old. However, this animal is still quite rare animals are found only in Indonesia.
